In 2007 the UK’s Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) conducted an enquiry whose aim was to establish a ‘standard’ economics curriculum. The Association for Heterodox Economics (AHE) conducted a systematic survey of its members and produced a consensus response to a set of questions posed by the agency. The rationale for the response has been presented in a number of fora, beginning with the 2007 ICAPE conference. This post presents:
- The QAA’s own enquiry
- The AHE’s response
- The AHE’s covering letter
