This last complete update of the GLA’s creative industry reports contains the most comprehensive treatment of clustering, localization and dispersal. Includes use of some more sophisticated tools for geospatial analysis. We applied the Hirfindahl-Hirschmann index of geographical concentration to draw some conclusions from this and I think shed important light on the ‘production process’ of the creative industries.
