This paper was the fruit of the [discussion organised by DAC] (Digital and Copyright Association) that took place in 2012. DACS  published a book containing contributions from artists, economists and cultural administrators, reflecting on the ‘Vale of Art’. It was part of the broader discussion of the time on the economic role of the Arts and on the meaning of the concept of ‘Value’ as appropriate for Artistic activities.
